Student representation, liaison teacher & teacher representation

The Student representation is an important organ of student self-administration. In addition to offering social and cultural activities, it takes on essential responsibility in representing student interests in the Administrative Board and the Academy's General Conference. The SV office hours take place on Tuesdays from 13:00 to 13:30 in the students' common room.

The Liaison teacher is elected by the student assembly. The lecturer is the first point of contact for students with academic and private problems and offers unbureaucratic and confidential advice.

The Teacher representation of the music school and the vocational academy is an important body in the administrative structure of the Akademie für Tonkunst. The representatives elected from among the staff are the first point of contact for teachers' concerns and participate in decision-making processes in the administrative board together with the management group and the student representatives.
