The pianist and music teacher studied piano and elementary music pedagogy as her main subjects and passed her artistic maturity examination in piano at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.
A doctoral programme in music education with minors in educational science and psychology, the Master's distance learning programme "Psychology of Childhood Learning and Developmental Disorders" as well as several additional trainings, e.g. to become a teacher of Dispokinesis, expanded her pedagogical-scientific knowledge.
In addition to teaching at the Akademie für Tonkunst, the Staatl. Hochschule f. Musik Mannheim and the Hochschule f. Kirchenmusik Rottenburg, she performs as a chamber music partner and accompanist at home and abroad (including at Carnegie Hall, New York).
