After four days of intensive sound experiences, new encounters and great premieres, the academy is returning to normal operations. We would like to thank the administrative team - especially Masahiro Nishio, Peter Arendt, Wolfram Friedrich and Katharina Helena Busch - for their great support and the students, teachers and ensembles (Sabine Simon & Konstantin Zvyagin, Grow Quartett, Broken Frames Syndicate and Raphaël Languillat) for their commitment to making this exciting time with and for contemporary sounds possible. We were particularly pleased to welcome new guests from Darmstadt's urban society, our regular guests and visitors from the neighbouring universities and institutes - a great incentive for all the other events in the "New Music" department that await us in the coming months and years.
