Katharina Wollitz works as a concert singer, singing teacher and choir conductor. The soprano completed her vocal studies at the conservatories in Mainz and Frankfurt and began an extensive concert career during her studies, which took her to renowned concert halls in Germany, Spain, France, Poland and Austria as a soloist. She also sang various opera roles at opera festivals and made CD and radio recordings with HR and SWR. As a qualified singing teacher, Katharina Wollitz has been employed at the Akademie für Tonkunst in Darmstadt since 2003. In addition, she gives private singing lessons, is active as a juror in singing competitions and, as a trained choir conductor, leads choirs in the Rheingau-Taunus district and Limburg.
