Filippos Manoloudis wins 1st prize in Tokyo

At the 65th International Guitar Competition in Tokyo, our student Filippos Manouloudis from Prof. Tilman Hoppstock's class came out on top. The competition, organised by the Japan Federation of Guitarists, is one of the most traditional and important events for guitarists. In addition to a prestigious cash prize, Filippos can look forward to concerts in Japan and a concert guitar by the famous Japanese guitar maker Masaki Sakurai.
