The cello quartet of the Akademie für Tonkunst (Franz Barocka, Endrit Berisha, Yosmari Rodriguez (class Ramain Garioud) and Alexander Fijolek (class Kanghao Feng)) was convincing at the presentation of the Johann Heinrich Merck Honour to the architect and sociologist Prof. Dr Werner Durth on 26 May 2023 at the Orangerie. The entertaining programme provided a worthy setting for this important event for an outstanding citizen of Darmstadt. The guests and dignitaries present - especially Lord Mayor Jochen Partsch, State Minister Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus and Cultural Officer Prof. Dr. Ludger Hünnekens - were enthusiastic.
