Academy music students successful in competitions!

Once again, our music students were able to enjoy a shower of prizes at the state competition "Jugend musiziert" and the Mendelsohn Competition Rhine-Main/Taunus. These awards in all age and instrument groups, as soloists and as chamber music ensembles, testify to the consistently high quality of the teaching offered by the municipal music school and the great talent of its students. We congratulate the musicians and their teachers! 

 

First prizes of the State Competition "Jugend musiziert went to Johannes Diefenbach and Vera Shauchenka (classes Hans-Jürgen Höfele and Sabine Hoppe), Pauline Emig and Miriam Latocha (classes Irmhild Wicking and Mirjam Klaassen), Jonathan Betz, Leo Rosenacker, Lukas Rosenacker and Vitus Schott (classes Markus Wagemann and Manfred Bockschweiger), Cornelius Elsäßer with ensemble and Helen Rau (class Martin Walz) as well as Jessika Kowalski, Julian Hoffmann, Cindy Xinfei Yuan and Yad Barzinjy (class Oliver Kolb).

 

Second prizes went to Selma González Hartmann, Gabriel Cercos de Lima and Helen Fink (class Christiane Frey), Sarah Leiendecker, Sophia Schütz and Fridolin Eläßer (class Hans-Jürgen Höfele), Tim-Luis Weiß (Class Sabine Simon) and Ben Noah Fleckenstein, David Schlesier, Lorenz Schmidt and Jeremias Schlesier (classes Manfred Bockschweiger and Markus Wagemann). 

 

A third prize went to Tassilo Trost (Oliver Kolb class).

 

First prizes of the Mendelsohn Competition Rhine-Main/Taunus went to Julian Hoffmann, Cindy Xinfei Yuan (with Laureate), Yad Barzinjy (with Laureate) and Shad Barzinjy (with Laureate) (class Oliver Kolb).
