Several students of our piano teacher Oliver Kolb were able to celebrate impressive successes at this year's Mendelssohn Competition Frankfurt-Rhein-Main. The second round of the competition took place on Sunday, 18 May 2025, in Kronberg.
The following students achieved excellent results in the piano solo category:
Jesslyn Alexia Koo - 1st prize, 30 points (Laureate)
Cindy Xinfei Yuan - 1st prize, 29 points (Laureate)
Shad Barzinjy - 1st prize, 28 points (Laureate)
Vivian Feng - 1st prize, 27 points
Luca Liu - 1st prize, 27 points

We are also delighted that Oliver Kolb was honoured as the most successful teacher in the competition for the second time in a row - a great sign of the dedicated and inspiring work at our academy.
