Prof. Karl-Wieland Kurz

Studied in Frankfurt/M., piano with Steven Zehr and Bernhard Kontarsky, composition/music theory with Rolf Riehm and Hans Ulrich Engelmann.
As a composer, he focuses on music theatre, orchestral and chamber music, lied and piano music.
Premiered at many international festivals, including Witten, Munich Biennale, Frankfurt Feste, International Summer Courses for New Music Darmstadt, Gaudeamus Muziekweek, Bacau Festival, Festival Europe Asia Kazan, Roaring Hooves Festival Mongolia, etc.
