Tilman Hoppstock (*1961) has been at home on all stages of the world for over 40 years. In 1983/84, concerts took him to London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Montreal, Tokyo, Mexico City, Singapore and other cities with millions of inhabitants. Later he was invited to the Royal Academy (London), the Manhattan School of Music, the University of South California (L.A.) and in 2003-2005 as a guest professor at the University of Piteå (Sweden). T.H. has received international awards for his approximately 40 CDs, and in 2013 he was awarded the "Darmstadt Music Prize" for his life's work. With three books on Bach's lute works (one as a doctorate), he has also gained an international reputation as a musicologist. Tilman likes thrillers and Russian literature, is an art lover and enjoys wines from France and Italy.
