Studies, state examination and diploma in school music and German language and literature as well as postgraduate studies in artistic education/orchestra at the University of Music and Performing Arts and J. W. v. Goethe University Frankfurt.
Teaching flute since 1987 at the Akademie für Tonkunst, 1989-1997 at the Goethe University and since 1998 at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt.
Artistic activities as soloist and in various ensembles in the Rhine-Main area (Main Philharmonic Orchestra, Bad Nauheim Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, Darmstadt Baroque Soloists, etc.).
A wide range of further training and many years of experience have led to a pedagogical goal that is characterised by a functional, holistic, body-conscious approach to the instrument on the one hand and musical inspiration on the other.
