Postgraduate studies: Artistic practice 

After successfully completing your bachelor's degree, you can perfect your skills with a subsequent postgraduate degree and develop them to stage maturity with the help of our professors.

The focus of the programme is on the artistic-practical field. However, the artistic postgraduate programme also covers topics from the fields of music theory, music practice and didactics. In the 2-year postgraduate programme, attractive opportunities for public performances are created for the students.

Postgraduate studies: Artistic and pedagogical practice 

The focus of this postgraduate certificate is on the artistic-pedagogical field. Expand your skills in teaching children, young people, lay people and students through practical offers. At the same time, you will sharpen your profile as an artist with top-class teachers.

Study of Excellence: Artistic Practice

This certificate programme can be completed in It can be followed by a Master of Music or a postgraduate certificate. It corresponds to a traditional master class programme with a strong focus on the main artistic subject for students who show great potential as soloists, orchestral musicians and composers. 

Artistic-pedagogical additional subject

This module can be acquired while studying or working and enables an expansion of artistic-pedagogical skills in one of our Fans in addition to the main compartment itself. Applicants who would like to acquire the additional subject while working will be charged a fee. Please contact us about this.

Due to the individual nature of the programme, it is not open to all instrument groups, so we recommend that you check with the Academy to see if a postgraduate is offered for your instrument.

No external applicants can be admitted to the postgraduate degree programmes for the upcoming aptitude tests for the summer semester 2025: Applications can be submitted again for the winter semester 2025/2026.
