The “Music Culture” (Musikalische Kultur) (Joint Bachelor of Arts) has evolved from the AfT cooperation with the TU Darmstadt and is unique in Europe. More information here
The Akademie für Tonkunst allows students from the TU Darmstadt to attend Seminars which accepted as Electives or Minors at the TU upon successful completion. More information here.
The AfT and the Evangelical Hochschule Darmstadt hold joint Seminars in which students from both institutes may participate: for example “Educational and Childhood Studies”. More information here

INTERNATIONAL SUMMER COURSES
The AfT is home to the renowned bi-annual “International Darmstadt Summer Courses for New Music”. Attendance is free of charge for students. The AfT also offers accompanying Seminars that can be integrated into the individual student’s course of study. More information here.

DARMSTADT MUSIC DISCUSSIONS (DARMSTÄDTER MUSIKGESPRÄCHE)
Several times a year the three Music institutes of Darmstadt, City of Science, hold joint podium discussions, The AfT curriculum offers an accompanying Seminar to allow students to integrate attending these discussions in their study program. More information here.
